When I saw the ever beloved Caterpillar blowing smoke rings, and asking Alice this simple yet diabolic question; like many people, I spent hours in the mirror reciting "WHO ARE YOU?" over and over again to myself until nearly going mad. I will be 35 this year and it's starting to freak me out how fast this ride is actually going! Today I have a firm grasp on who I am, and what my purpose is in life...I make each moment count, striving each day to achieve my goals, with the drive to become a better person. It is of the utmost importance that we begin to treat not only ourselves better, but each other. We must begin to care about the next man's needs. We have to become proactive in our efforts to transcend the impurity of our lower nature into a focused and positive strength, out of order, discipline, and structure. To be able to see the path of greatness that our destiny has forged for us is the single greatest feat one can develop. To have knowledge, wisdom, and understanding is a great responsibility; and we must recognize the importance of being a student of life as we continue to teach the lessons that have been our bitter sweet teachers of irony over the years. I am an artist and cant help my fever for the flavor of life's essence.
I am just an average man with above average thoughts
As I sit in contemplation of the many things that my imagination creates links to throughout space and time, I am left in admiration of the awesome powers of the mind. In a recent public speech I did at a convention "THE POWER OF THOUGHT", I hit on a point that I know everyone relates to...How many of you remember what went through your mind when you saw superman for the first time when you were a kid? Be honest, how many of you tried to move something with your mind, or shoot heat rays from your eyes, or maybe see through the wall to check the girl next store out? Hey, I was 8 years old what do you expect? Yea, I spent hours...no really, literally hours, trying to use my mind to move the basketball, make fruit fall from a tree, or blast a hole in the wall of the enemy fortress with my laser heat vision. Hell, I still have flashbacks when driving trying to blast the car that just cut me off with my heat vision. No one can deny the "kid" in them when they see a Marvel or DC comics movie in the theater...we have all been on the edge of our seats at one point and got carried away in the moment letting out a shout of encouragement for the Hero, as they dangle from the edge of a cliff, attempting to disarm a nuclear bomb strapped to the hot red headed chic with the big hooters. It is natural to have a sense of super powers because our minds are super computers in themselves are a living miracle. Consider the simple fact that the universe is designed just like the neurological path ways of the brain. Not to mention the effects of our thoughts, emotions and feelings on ourselves and others.
